This release of the popular 18 Year Old Sherry Oak from The Macallan is matured exclusively in sherry seasoned casks, built from both Spanish and American oak giving a beautifully dark flavour with rich aromas.

Often referred to as the Rolls Royce of whiskies the Macallan boasts a fantastic range of whiskies prized by connoisseurs around the world. The Macallan 18 year old 1997 expression is incredibly smooth – the whisky combines notes of rich dried fruits and sherry with some gentle wood smoke and spicy flavours .

The nose offers dried fruits and ginger with hints of citrus, vanilla and cinnamon. The palate is rich in dried fruits, spices, clove, orange and wood smoke, while the finish is full and lingering with sweet toffee, ginger and a hint of smoke.
